Your booking with Leapin’ Lindy is binding. Upon submitting the registration form, you will receive payment information by email. The fee must be paid within 5 working days. If you register with a partner, the payments for both participants are required to secure your spots. Payments have to be made in Swiss Francs. We only accept bank transfers – no credit cards or Paypal payments. Transfer fees must be payed by the participants.

If we do not receive your payment in time, your registration may be canceled and your spot offered to other dancers.

 

Refunds 

In case of cancelation, refunds are granted as follows:

Feb 14th – Feb 27th 2025	50%
After Feb 28th 2025	0%

The refund policy also applies in cases of injury, illness or travel bans. We suggest that you contact your local insurance company to check if you can buy a cancellation insurance in order to be fully protected, if you have to cancel your participation for any reason.

If you cannot attend on short notice, we will try to find a replacement for you. A refund may be granted if we succeed,  but we cannot guarantee this. The refund policy remains applicable at all times.

You are also free to find a replacement for yourself. Please inform us before check-in opens, if you want your ticket transferred to another dancer. You will still owe us the course fee and it is your responsibility to make arrangements with your replacement to receive the fees from them.

 

Artists at Leapin’ Lindy 

Flights may be delayed or canceled, train companies may go on strike, artists can get ill or injured… Our goal is to bring the teachers and bands to Leapin’ Lindy for which you have signed up. However, for various reasons, individual artists may not be able to participate at Leapin’ Lindy. If necessary, we will adjust the lineup and the schedule and you may get to learn from other excellent teachers or dance to other exceptional bands.

 

Inappropriate behaviour 

Anyone who endangers or harasses another person, who disrespects another person’s boundaries, is disrespectful to others or who disregards requests to change their behavior, may be asked to leave and may be banned from Swingmachine events by an event organizer or by a member of the board. Please refer to the Code of Conduct.

 

Insurance 

Participants of Leapin’ Lindy are responsible for their own insurance. They are not insured by the organizer which disclaims all liability.

 

Photos and Videos

We have a professional photographer and videographer at Leapin’ Lindy who will be capturing the event. If you do not wish to be in photos or videos, please talk to them directly. Please also talk to them if you would like them to take a photo or video of you or of a special moment or if you want to know more about reusing their work for your own purposes. 

All photographic and videographic material may be used by Leapin’ Lindy for promotional purpuses on the website and social media.
